Journalistic Integrity

Trying to be as Anonymous as I can
I fully understand Portland Indy Media feeling the need to review an article accusing corruption withing the GA of a democratic assembly before we have any facts or relevant information, but they should have posted something explaining the situation and giving us an explanation as to why and what was happening. I'm not disagreeing with it, actually if I knew what had happened I would have very well have agreed. But it's the same joke I posted on here again, a lot of people jazzed up on cafe oleh and Marx sitting around comparing why an article stating that 20,000 dollars in charitable donations were being used (possibly) without their consent to start, even if a non profit, with no democratic assembly, just all of a sudden disappearing, comparing it to the Bolshevik revolution asking why their comrades are disappearing and Joey's dictating mandates through a banana. And if you don't have the capacity to communicate the what and the why, they have a right to.

And if you can't work with people, you know, like communicating...and shit, seriously, don't be here. Just don't. Come on people a LITTLE bit of journalistic integrity. You are without a doubt one of the most important aspects of the current "Occupy" movement. This is how people communicate information who don't have money, and degrees in journalism, i.e. most of us. And it's also how we get information from people to whom have control over certain aspects of this movement that we don't. If you can't handle it... But there's a way to handle things and a way not to. Believe it or not, you're people, and you have a voice, and run a media outlet in which many people who wouldn't have contact have contact with one another. You have power, you have fingers, you can tell us what the hell is going on, because, maybe it might be somewhat relevant.

Ya boy.
