To those not able to join directly the various occupations of communities, because of work or family circumstances or situations of ability or whatever real understandable reasons are then here is a means to be there in solidarity. Have a Two Minutes of Solidarity at 2:00 PM. This means if you are a truck driver or a worker in a store or a teacher who could not get your students out to an occupy community or whatever your situation is ... then at 2:00 PM just have a two minutes of just silence in solidarity to all those in struggle for a life with dignity, for those at the various occupations whether that is at Wall Street, Portland, Spokane, Seattle or else where. Two Minutes of Solidarity at 2:00 PM on October 6th. Bus drivers who support the occupations can appropriately pull their buses over and sit for 2 minutes. Postal employees who have been the target of union breaking policies and corporate manipulations, can take those two minutes of solidarity knowing symbolically for those two minutes we are one. Longshoremen could take that two minutes of solidarity knowing all of us are in solidarity with them. Clerks, cashiers, baristas and others can put aside their tasks and pause for a thoughtful and respectful 2 minutes. Ideally just put your hands (if you are able) in front of you and cup one hand in the other and remain silent for 2 minutes. This should be a somber two minutes of reflection on the plight of others or your own economic situation.

And if the occupiers end up as victims of violence or mischief by those of the authoritarian mindset then future and frequent moments of solidarity maybe a means to persuading away from such violations of human dignity and violations of human rights of expression and assembly.

"We" think like "good Germans" in that we do not want to cause disorder or disturbance. To use violence or even property damage would stain and taint any movement for positive change, human dignity and the preservation of life sustaining planet. Violence is never a solution for it would only lead to more violence. Gandhi once said "eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" and so these words hold great truth in them. Yet those who wield such power only do so cause we give them our obedience or the compliance to let them rule. Those who wield such "power" must have a world of consistency. A world where their trains run on time. A world where there is no challenge to them. A world complaint to their will. A world where their coffee is perfect and their office workers do their jobs on a timely basis. A world where the elite expect strict compliance and absolute devotion. Disturbance of that order even a simple thing out of place in the authoritarian mindset is chaos. But what if there was small minute building up of refusal. Something seemingly trivial yet minutely annoying. Then another minutely annoyance followed by another and another til it becomes disobedience. Each step being not enough for total disruption for long, but a building point where the system of oppression must acknowledge it and where that annoyance is with such frequency that it becomes disturbance. Each disturbance of the order seemingly so small at first that it would be laughable in the minds of the authoritarian personality and yet not offensive enough to warrant punishment or sanctions on the disturber. History shows that there have been times of general strikes, boycotts and other nonviolent tactics for social justice and struggles against great wrongs. Mini strikes or pre-scheduled frequent work stoppages could be deployed in an affective way to cause disturbance in the machinery of oppression. Hierarchical structures that are heavy on top do no take well to the shaky foundations. This can be done simply if a large portion of the population took two minutes a day every day and refuse to work. Stop the buses, the taxis, the flow of coffee, the serving of food, the exchange of items for money at the cash register, stop work for two minutes collectively.. then if the corporatist refuse to change the conditions or decided to become more oppressive then those two minutes a day could be increased each day .. twice a day.. three times a day.. four times a day.. once an hour, twice an hour .. until total general non compliance. One such schedule series of mini strikes of work stoppages could be scheduled like this:

first day 11:11 AM to 11:13 AM;

second day would be two mini strikes 11:11 AM to 11:13 AM and 12:12 PM to 12:14 PM;

third day would be three mini strikes 11:11 AM to 11:13 AM, and 12:12 PM to 12:14 PM and 1:13 PM to 1:15 PM;

fourth day would be four 2 minute pauses or mini strikes starting with 11:11 AM to 11:13 AM, and 12:12 PM to 12:14 PM, 1:13 PM to 1:15 PM , 2:14 PM to 2:16 PM

fifth day would be five mini strikes 11:11 AM to 11:13 AM, and 12:12 PM to 12:14 PM, 1:13 PM to 1:15 PM, 2:14 PM to 2:16 PM, 3:15 PM to 3:17 PM

sixth day mini strike would be six mini strikes 11:11 AM to 11:13 AM, and 12:12 PM to 12:14 PM, 1:13 PM to 1:15 PM, 2:14 PM to 2:16 PM, 3:15 PM to 3:17 PM , 4:16 PM to 4:18 PM

and so the pattern goes on per hour with each day eventually on the 24th day a beginning cycle of two mini strike in an hour starting with 11:33 AM to 11:35AM.
