I have been emphasizing the Fukushima reactors disaster for some time on local community radio. Unfortunately, a steady eye on the phenomenon reveals a very bad outcome, even for us here on the West Coast. Here are some links--but I have more to say:

Note the upshot of the last two links: we have been breathing statically-charged radioactive iodine, strontium, cesium, uranium, and plutonium every day since the winds blew them here from Fukushima. Tepco has been insidiously effective in lying and then revealing bits of the truth, so that the scope of the disaster stays under the threshold of a very appropriate general alarm.
This is a very sad situation. For myself, and doubtless for many of you, the memory of fighting nuclear power all those years ago is no balm against the pain of this outcome. Yet now, we are needed more than ever, to overcome the propaganda and censorship that is aiding the strontium, cesium, plutonium, uranium, and iodine particles in their life-snuffing mission. I think of the women and families, holding their new babies, not knowing and not comprehending how they should die; I think of the local versions of Chernobyl/Fallujah babies that will be born in November and December and on. This is not right.
These particles are accumulating in our hearts, lungs, livers, brains, bones. Five hot particles per day. One hundred fifty "hits"per month. Four hundred fifty already--in every human being. More In all the animals and plants. Each "hit" capable of a death, and now they accumulate...while Obama schemes to produce more nukes, and the corporate media conspire to keep the truth from us.
I will not be silent. I will expand my activities. Should there be actions? Bumper stickers? Organization? Postering? Net activism/social network activism combining these?
