The Institute for Anarchist Studies and AK Press are proud to announce the release of the second book in their joint series, "Oppose and Propose: Lessons from Movement for a New Society," by Andy Cornell.
Andy will be in town for one night only to speak on his work. He will be joined by IAS board members Chris Dixon (of "Upping the Anti") and Harjit Singh Gill. Please join us for an evening of conversation around issues of radical history and contemporary practices at the Variant. We'd love to see you there!
Entry is free, but a donation of $3 to help support the venue is recommended.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Refreshments will be served.
This event is co-sponsored by the Oregon Jericho Movement. Stick around after the discussion for an open mic, starting at 8:00 PM.
For more about the book, please visit: http://www.akpress.org/2011/items/opposeandpropose. Copies of the book and of Perspectives on Anarchist Theory, the journal of the IAS, will be available for purchase.
