The president of Peru has so far denied the existence of first peoples living in the Amazon along the Peruvian and Brazilian border, and has called it a big lie put forward by environmentalists to stop oil extraction and logging. Now there is video evidence that tribal first peoples do live in the areas slated for destruction.
Ethnic cleansing and genocide of indigenous peoples still goes on, to this day. Civilization at its finest.
