Jan 29th - Sea Shepherd benefit screening of "The Cove" at PSU

Saturday, January 29 7:00pm - 10:00pm

@PSU 5th avenue cinema
510 SW Hall St.

Donations accepted but no one will be turned away!
Sea Shepherd volunteers will be screening the oscar award winning documentary "The Cove" to help fund the Sea Shepherd Cove Guardian program. After the film there will be a short discussion about the program, it's goals and how other people can get involved in ending the dolphin slaughter. Donations will be accepted but no one will be turned away.

The Cove Guardians are 3 dedicated activists who will be traveling to the infamous cove in Taiji, Japan to help end the slaughter of 23,000 dolphins every season. By documenting the slaughter and exposing the brutality of this small fishing town, the Cove Guardian program hopes to pressure the Japanese government to put an end to the systematic murder of cetaceans. The Cove Guardians are keeping a blog of their fundraising and their travels here:  http://thecoveguardians.blogspot.com/
