"If I Had a Trillion Dollars" was a video contest open to youth between the ages of 13 and 23 nationwide. The contest was created to help young people enter the cost of war discussion. The deadline for youth to submit a 1- to 3-minute video was November 30, 2010.
The money that is being spent on the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan just reached $1 trillion on May 30, 2010. This money could have been spent in our communities on many things that now face cuts, like after-school programs, arts and music programs and summer jobs.
