REMEMBER HAITI Event -- Wednesday, January 12, 2011

On January 12, 2010, a massive 7.0 magnitude earthquake destroyed the Capitol of Haiti and the surrounding villages and left thousands homeless. The Society for Haitian Arts and Culture invites you to remember Haiti, to listen to live music and to receive updates on the situation in Haiti and the Haitian effort to rebuild their country.

Free -- donations gratefully accepted to be applied towards shipping a relief container to Haiti.

performances by the Grant High School Royal Blues, local artists and professional bands;
traditional dance, drama and poetry;
Haitian finger food;
raffle.
