Please join Veterans for Peace as they stand in observance of the original intent of Armistice Day -- "a day to be dedicated to the cause of world peace and to be thereafter celebrated and known as 'Armistice Day.'" Armistice Day commemorates the signing of the Armistice ending World War I -- the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918.

Immediately after the Armistice Day observance, Individuals for Justice will be holding their weekly stand at the Ninth Circuit Courthouse, calling for the removal of "Torture Judge" Jay Bybee from the Bench.

Call for the removal of "Torture Judge" Jay Bybee from the Bench. Bybee wrote the infamous "Torture Memos" that gave the Bush Administration faux legal coverage to use "enhanced interrogation methods."
