also, 9/11 truth these days gets pretty instantly bashed by most US media as a "left wing"-oriented phenomenon.... although from my experience, it was at the initial stages (I mean within days after Sept. 11th 2001) of 9/11 'doubt' let's call it, that the 'doubts' were mostly emanating from right wing sources.
but it was my impression, from Chomsky (and many others - let's not get hung up on the mere mention of his name) or whoever that 'conspiracy theory' was almost exclusively the dominion of the right.
as in the John Birch Society, from the cold war era. Remember those clowns?
also, most "UFO conspiracies" predominantly tie in with right wing-oriented (and even US government) sources and entities.
So, what is the verdict of Portland Indymedia?
are 'conspiracy theorists' or a general 'conspiracy mindedness' more of a right wing phenomena? or is it the left wingers who are more prone?
