We teach from our own manual, with lecture, hands-on practice, and scenarios--materials are provided. Out-of-towners will be accommodated, as will other needs to the extent possible. Some food will be provided. Childcare references are available upon request. Participants vary in level of medical background from complete noobs to doctors, nurses, experienced herbalists & paramedics--but we confer no legal certification.
We ask only funds to cover our costs & hold each participant's place (usually comes to $20), but we will turn no one away for lack of funds. Returning medics are welcome (seeking refreshers) and volunteers are needed (as 'patient' actors, food donation, & childcare). We cannot provide these trainings without help!
To register for the training, get on our email list, and/or have your questions answered, please email RIGHT AWAY. Visit our website to learn more about us and find links to great community resources. If you are interested, but cannot commit a weekend at this time we invite you to volunteer or check out future trainings & community wellness workshops.
Hope you check us out & to see you in the classroom, streets and neighborhood.
