Marcellus Shale Golf Invitational and Conference

PA Govenor Ed Rendell will be the keynote speaker at the 1st Marcellus Shale Golf Invitational and Conference being held at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. This wide open, five star resort provides plenty of opportunities for those opposed to the Governmental/Captitalist exploitation of shale gas through the use of "fracking". System One, the leader in technical outsourcing and careers, has signed on as a gold sponsor for the inaugural Marcellus Shale Coalition Foundation and Golf Invitational. The event will be held at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort on September 28th and 29th, 2010.

The development of the Marcellus shale has the potential to change the future of the natural gas industry in North America, impact markets overseas and reduce North America's energy resource imports. Experts estimate that more than a half quadrillion cubic feet of natural gas could be harvested from the region, enough to supply the nation's needs for nearly five decades.

"We are excited to be a part of this inaugural event with the Marcellus Shale Coalition, " Greg Lignelli, chief operating officer of System One, "All of us, local businesses and leading energy organizations alike, are excited about the opportunities for natural gas exploration and production in this region."

Honorable John Hanger, Secretary, Department of Environmental Protection, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Tom Ridge, Former Governor of Pennsylvania and former Secretary of Homeland Security and now Chairman & CEO Ridge Global along with golf legend John Daly will be in attendance. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Fayette Progress Council Inc., a non-profit 501(c) 3 charitable foundation. The foundation will distribute the funds to Marcellus Shale region nonprofits dedicated to educational and environmental research and development to support the region and the residents.
