HELP SHAC FILL A RELIEF CONTAINER FOR HAITI!

The Society for Haitian Arts and Culture (SHAC), a Portland-based, grassroots organization of Haitian immigrants and their allies, is attempting to fill a cargo container to be bound for Haiti. Donations are being accepted this Saturday, September 25, in the Central Bible Church rear parking lot.

The Society for Haitian Arts and Culture (SHAC), a Portland-based, grassroots organization composed of Haitian immigrants and their allies, is seeking donations to fill a cargo container bound for Haiti with relief supplies for those still suffering from the ravages of the earthquake.

Especially needed items include: hygiene supplies, first aid kits, food, school supplies and camping-type items.

Monetary donations are also appreciated to help defray the cost of shipping the cargo container.
