In this 35 minute excerpt from the local Public Access program, "A Growing Concern," Dr. Dover details his issues with the Oregon Medical Board in this regard.|
This report prepared by Dr. Eric Dover.
Regarding Dr. Dover's case, they refuse to do any investigation, but instead prefer to make accusations based upon innuendo, using a compromised physician to make outlandish statements and accusations.?
The individuals who make up the Oregon Medical Board?and Assistant Attorney General Warren Foote don't believe in the medical benefits of Medical Cannabis. Therefore, they are willing?to?accomplish their goal of making?Medical Cannabis unobtainable for patient's any way they can:?
They have forced Dr. Dover to answer?questions?and write?statements for 2 years without the benefit of any medical records;
They have no remorse regarding the breaking of Dr. Dover's confidentiality on three separate occasions, but instead blame him for not keeping them up to date on his office address he has been?the same for 8 years;
They have sent multiple licenses to this office address,?the?last one being 1/1/08, five weeks before confidential letters were sent to a PO Box of a nonprofit office and opened by volunteers;
They have physicians within the Medical Board that are unqualified to review charts because they greatly lack the medical knowledge?to do an adequate medical assessment and treatment;
They protect physicians and institutions that refuse to help patients with Medical Cannabis and in fact blacklist these patients forever.?
The Oregon Medical Board has either been incompetent or criminal regarding Dr. Dover's case.
The way this is accomplished is through intimidation of physicians. Oregonians are about to lose their legal right to this medication because they'll be unable to secure a physician's signature on a state form that states nothing more than that Medical Cannabis may be helpful for a patient's medical condition.
Now is the time to write the Governor Kulongoski and Attorney General John Kroger.? Ask them to protect your Civil Rights.? Ask them to investigate this situation and if necessary remove the?current Medical Board members and Assistant Attorney General Warren Foote.
