Climate Ground Zero coming to Portland Aug 26th!

Climate Ground Zero is an ongoing campaign of non-violent civil resistance in southern West Virginia to end mountaintop removal. Since Feb 2009, over 150 people have been arrested (in WV alone!) confronting the irrevocable destruction of Appalachia & its accompanying toll on air, water, & lives of Appalachians. Climate Ground Zero, civil resistance anti-MTR campaign, comes to Portland Who: Climate Ground Zero, an ongoing campaign of non-violent civil resistance in southern West Virginia to end mountaintop removal What: A colorful & informative presentation covering the destruction of Appalachia's rich land, culture, & history by mountaintop removal--among the most terrible techniques of fossil fuel extraction--and the popular resistance that will stop it. Find out how to help.
