Women in Prison: Potluck & Prison Talk

The first day of Against Patriarchy, Beyond Feminism: 9 Days of Events for Our Bodies, Ourselves

This night will consist of a potluck (no one turned away due to lack of dish) and a discussion and talk about prisons-more specifically about women in prison. Parts of the short documentary, Voices in Time: Lives in Limbo will be shown. We will be exploring how prison affects us all, especially poor communities and communities of color. Also, how prison affects women from sexual abuse to childbirth. This event is free and open to everyone.

Free at the M11
