Human Rights Commission of Portland
Interplay between Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) & Local Law Enforcement
Thursday, May 27
4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Portland Community College Cascade Campus (705 N. Killingsworth)
Cafeteria/Student Center (directly behind the Library).
At the Commission's invitation, ACLU of Oregon Legislative Director Andrea Meyer will testify in support of keeping local law enforcement from acting as federal immigration agents. Representatives from immigrant rights groups and law enforcement have also been invited to speak.
Members of the public will also have a chance to testify. It is critical that our public officials hear from the community.
Help keep Oregon from becoming the next Arizona. Let the City of Portland know that you want local police to provide public safety and not immigration enforcement.

We hope to see you there!
