After a lot of thinking, and talking to people, and talking at people, I'm starting to wonder why exactly it is that we aren't recognizing the state, corporations, (sometimes the church), this competitive capitalistic system as a primary cause of depression? I feel a lot of stonewalling in community 'mental health' groups where there isn't much of a desire to talk about the problems outside the mind. I know the theory of externalizing one's problems, but the fact is the outside world does affect people....
I think DEBT, POLLUTION, INSTUTIONAL MANDATORY SCHOOLING, VIOLENT POLICE, all represent a SERIOUS obstacle to the right to LIFE LIBERTY AND PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS, so, this is going to be addressed. Now that we all know a majority of judges attorneys and cops do cocaine, drink, smoke pot or all three, let's start addressing root causes instead of symptomatic treatment.
