REAL PEACE IN THE CITY REQUIRES THE ABOLITION OF THE PETROLVEE

Realizations from this evening's drive.
What a pleasant Sunday evening here in (portions of) Portland! Pretty calm, not much frenetic activity on the streets.

But even this evening, the perpetual din of PetrolVees racing along I-5 and I-405 cutting through the heart of the city, polluting the nearby environs with air toxins and unhealthy, deafening vibes.

Plus even just a few PetrolVees on the major boulevards like Barbur succeed in keeping the air perpetually fouled and the noise levels of the nearby environs elevated.

And of course on the days when there *is* a lot of frenetic activity on the streets, PetrolVees are racing and fro, seemingly on every street, threatening the health and safety of everyone out and about.

Portland has ccme so far being Green. But....a big but....it has not confronted head-on, the ubiquitous Petrolvee.

Public Policy has not taken the bull by the horns.

Real Peace in the City can't be had so long as the PetrolVee remains entrenched on the streets. They must go, and the sooner, the better!
