The Earth First! Journal needs a short term journalista

The Earth First! Journal needs a short term journalista to help us put out the next issue of the journal. The call is for a dedicated environmentalist who believes in direct action to come to Tucson in early May and work on the journal until the end of June. The job is not overly stressful, but it does demand basic computer skills and knowledge of the environmental movement.

As a short term journalista, you would help every part of the editorial process, from finding news to editing articles to designing the pages of the Journal. This is great experience for anyone interested in alternative press, and we offer $200 per month, plus spacious housing, free food, and access to bicycles. Tucson's also great place to be, with mountains, scenery and great community bonds.

Let us know if you're interested. The journal might be moving to Florida at the end of the year, so this might be the last chance for West Coasters to jump on this opportunity. E-mail us at  lilac@earthfirstjournal.org or call at (520) 620-6900
