Movie Showing- "The Color of Fear" an introductory look at racism

Setting the Record Straight is hosting a film showing this Monday, February 15th. The film being shown is "The Color of Fear", a documentary directed by Lee Mun Wah which portrays eight men of different ethnicities discussing the issues of racism and critical race theory together.

Setting the Record Straight is hosting a film showing this Monday, February 15th. The film being shown is "The Color of Fear", a documentary directed by Lee Mun Wah which portrays eight men of different ethnicities discussing the issues of racism and critical race theory together.

This would be a good introduction film for people just beginning to learn about racism and how it affects our society.

Please come, bring your friends, and join us for a discussion after the film!

I went to the venue but no film or meeting tonight
but it is a cool worker owned coffee shop!

There was a major breakdown in communication within our group and nobody told me (It's my duty to post info on Indymedia for the group) that the film showing had been canceled. As a consequence I also showed up to the cafe (you're right, it is cool) and found nobody else there. Sorry once again! As soon as we've rescheduled this event we'll post an update.
