Come show support for people directly resisting the 2010 Olympics with a fun benefit show on Saturday January 30th at In Other Words Books (8 NE Killingsworth suite B near Williams). Starting at 6:30pm there will be a Potluck dinner and presentation showcasing the political, environmental and economical situations surrounding Vancouver and the upcoming Olympics. Music starts at 8pm. The bands performing will be the Dapper Cadavers, Dopesmoker, Nahko and the Medicine for the People and more. Suggested donations of 5-10$ no one turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds are going to the Native Youth Movement in their fight against the Olympics.
