this is the grand opening of a dream...a year ago, when we took over muddy waters, we turned it co-op and have run the shop as a non profit..forged our wages...brought in
> organic product...and turned the shop into a safe space for any and all needs....this endeavor...plus an economy crash...has ran us into the ground..
> we had this vacant space behind the shop....one day...we allowed ourselves to dream...and envisioned a venue..a space where education, art, music, dance, and life could flow and grow freely....with day and night work, NIYAH's hands, elbows, energy and motivation, Micheal's ability to make anything happen..and do it well..., Sara's alchemy, dedication and artistic perfection, and our beloved family's support and willingness to stay after midnight working their asses off....in one month, the venue is built.
