For more than two months, our small core group of dedicated and impassioned organizers has been putting together the logistics for our march that finally happened today. The excitement was palpable and the message was clear - There is now a new generation of activists that will not relent until full federal equality is realized. People who attended the March and rally came from all over the Portland Metro Area. Today's march was meant to galvanize the local community into action! We are now ready to begin the first steps of contributing to the growing, larger national coordinated campaign for full federal equality. Our priority now is growing and strengthening the LGBTQI grassroots movement in Oregon. We cannot do this without your help! So please, attend our strategy meetings, join our organization, help out during events, and bring new ideas to the table. We are still a brand new grassroots organization, so the new ideas of the community will be crucial to shaping our local and statewide grassroots campaign.
