It may be scientifically sound? Maybe. Either way, it is in complete disregard to the our current global problems, it carries awful symbolic implications. It's rude, and inconsiderate to the entire human race, let alone the perfect order of the cosmos. It discredits the spiritual beliefs of people and past and present all over the world. It tells us that we are powerless over the decisions science makes for us. Something needs to be arranged. NASA should know that it is not exempt from public opinion, and human outrage. It is important to know that fighting this type of fascist scientific decision making should be done with reason. Nobody will listen to conspiracy theories, besides there are many other reasonable arguments that could be put into use.
Honestly, we've messed this planet up enough. How far do we have test our limits?
