The so-called "advocacy group" Advocates for Children in Therapy (ACT) does nothing but mount propaganda attacks on licensed therapists and social workers.
They have published accusations of criminal acts, of using false credentials, and even of forcing parents to watch "torture sessions"-none of this is true.
None of the leaders of the group: Jean Mercer, Linda Rosa, Monica Pignotti, or Larry Sarner is a licensed mental health professional.
Bowing to pressure from the community at large and responsible blog publishers such as WordPress, Project DoD has taken the site down.
Members of ACT called for the "excoriation" of WordPress' reasoned approach to defamatory statements. They have also claimed that a "cabal" is trying to silence them.
