The fate brought to me to meet well a girl from Atlanta Georgia and a Muslim with roots from Morocco. The republican girl made a war against Islam as we know in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Those two communities look like they are exactly opposite. But as we know to «Ends meet», which is true. But when you experience that truth it is really shocking

The religion of Christianity it is in a major priority , since the church is full every Sunday.
The same it is happening in a modern Muslim country, but the true Muslim remain still virgins until they marry and of course cause of Islam.. In the south U.S., the same stage - except the virginity but also there it is not very good to fuck around before u get marry. .
Both of those 2 girls, the Muslim and the republican expect the prince who will save them. As there mothers grow them up with such ideas: they want to have many children's and to sit home and to grow them up. The END. Of course that's the American dream : a big house in a suburbs lots of cars and lots of kids so 4 me it was really shocked that the Muslim girl wanted the same thing with the American
They will never admit the similarity they have they are enemies to each other .
Base of this conservative attitude is the family both ways. Ties are strong and the FATHER has the absolute power (patriarchal society). In the case of the usa girl, there in the south, the FATHER or the Mother probably both have a special timber which is to beat their children when they are not behave ... For the Morocco girl now, I failed to obtain such information but I think even if they don't have a special wood to beat the kids violence it is something normal.
Both the 2 girls they did not pay when we went out for a walk/drink/ food .They liked the man to be THE man and even if he raise the voice not a problem 4 them since it remind them of there father ( the well known Oedipus story ) ,
However, those societies - the conservative Christian with strong family structure and the similar but with more religious elements of Islam, contribute to the existing state of the world as it is today. Because such structures in the family leading with mathematical precision continuation to this "tradition" and thus perpetuated and the world will not change easy.
(To be honest I have met many Americans. except the Americans comrades, the others are really strange and in Greece we all call them HAZOAMERIKANAKIA WHICH IT MEANS silly Americans. The good thing is that the USA comrades are rocking and they are really really nice people. Unfortunately I have not met comrades from the east as things there are not so easy to be anarchists or to belong to a left party)
