Seattle: African-american museum founder arrested for cop-watching

Omari Tahir-Garrett (Hon. James C. Garrett), long time community organizer, founder of the African American Heritage Museum & Cultural Center and elder of UmojaFest P.E.A.C.E. Center was arrested on 23rd & Union today for observing the police.

He has been charged with:
Harrassment
Obstruction
Unlawful Use of a Weapon

He appears court tomorrow @ 10am King County Jail (5th & James) courtroom 2.
