My question is when will effective direct action be bought to bear on those with real power, instead of focusing all anger and frustration on the systems designated spokesman Hero/ fall guy (Politian's.) Politicians are designed to absorb it all, from public anger and protest to, being super star Icons like Obama is now, but is sure to change. Why march in front of Politian's office? why not in front of the HMO's or the residence of the ceo of Exxon, military contractors, top executives at CNN or Fox and the Bansksters? Why attack and kill the messenger. Killing the messenger has never been a good strategy and it would seem humanity would have abandoned it long ago.
Personally I consider Bill Gates and Warren Buffet heroes, for giving away their wealth it really is extraordinary. For those Billionaires who don't give away large parts of their wealth they should be shamed into giving more away because the power they possess with that money is corrupting. Take for instance; Oracle's founder, Lawrence J. Ellison. Mr. Ellison's net worth last year was around $16 billion. And it will probably be much bigger when the list comes out in a few weeks. With $16 billion and a 10 percent rate of return, Mr. Ellison would need to spend more than $30 million a week simply to keep from accumulating more money than he already has, to say nothing of trying to spend down the $16 billion itself.
He spent something like $100 million on his Japanese-style mansion in Woodside, Calif., making it among the more expensive private residences ever built. But that is only about three weeks worth of the interest he earns on his wealth. And a house doesn't actually spend down his net worth because it is an asset that can be resold. At least part of the $100 million is just a different way of saving.
I can't even listen to people complain about Politian's anymore, its sickening and pathetic knowing there are people and organizations with many more billions than Mr. Ellison. They don't have that money for any other reason than power, no politician, no matter how brave would have a chance against it. Billionaires are treated with respect admiration and awe, when in fact they should be shamed and degraded in the publics sight until they give it all away, or at least give enough away that a politician has a chance against it. Until the time comes when people realize that they no longer need politicians or government and are capable of governing themselves individually, the hope of a politician that is capable of listening to the people is impossible until you deal with the wealth issues.
