The Best Western Mill Creek Inn has known of previous meetings by OFIR at their premises, but the hotel has ignored community demands that it stop hosting racists. Management of the national Best Western franchise has refused to acknowledge any problem.

* Until early 2000, the Oregonians for Immigration Reform web page was part of the white supremacist New Nation News site. While this connection is well-documented, Oregonians for Immigration Reform spokespeople continue to lie about it, stating that the organization was founded in 2000 rather than 1995 so as to avoid bad publicity.

* In 2000, Oregonians for Immigration Reform was revamped so as to have a better public image. The organization was counseled in this effort by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), an organization dedicated to "mainstreaming" white supremacist politics and the eugenics movement. FAIR is widely considered to be a hate-mongering organization; it promotes OFIR as its affiliate within the state of Oregon.

* Literature distributed at OFIR meetings includes printouts from "VDARE", a website that specializes in anti-Black and anti-Latino racism. OFIR has also distributed writings by Samuel Francis at meetings. Francis was a white supremacy activist who worked with the Council of Conservative Citizens (formerly known as the White Citizens' Council).

* While OFIR denies any links to them, neo-nazi organizations such as the National Alliance have promoted OFIR's activities on their websites. OFIR also has a working relationship with the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, another organization which has been criticized for its comfortable relationship with neo-nazi activists.
