San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom rides the big wave

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom now aspires to succeed Arnold Schwarzenegger as California's Governor Greenwash II. Newsom recently came out for mega wave energy, meaning Pacific Gas'n Electric wave energy, which is adamantly opposed by environmental activists on California's North Coast, in Mendocino and Humboldt Counties. Newsom is virtually joined at the hip with PG&E, so he will most certainly be a lobbyist, as well, for LNG Terminals and pipeline in the rural state of Oregon, to bring natural gas to Northern California's huge natural gas market. The natural gas pipeline proposed to run through Oregon wilderness, from LNG Terminals in Oregon, is a joint project of PG&E and several other very related big energy corporations.
This cross post from my Examiner.com column, about Newsom and the PG&E Wave/Connect project so opposed by California's North Coast environmentalists, includes notes about LNG Terminal and natural gas pipeline aggression in Oregon, which I hope to report on in the future, and hope to see Oregon environmentalists defeat, http://www.examiner.com/x-8257-SF-Energy-Policy-Examiner~y2009m4d30-San-Francisco-Mayor-Gavin-Newsom-who-would-be-Governor-rides-the-big-wave .
