Obama Breaks His Promises on Outsourcing

Obama backtracks on outsource. Let's outsource his job!
Obama, the man who won the presidency on a platform of reform has reneged on yet one more promise -- the promise to oppose outsourcing.? In what only can be called a cynical merger of backtracking and stupidity, the man who many times on the campaign trail said ?we can keep giving tax breaks to companies that ship jobs overseas or give benefit to those corporations that keep jobs domestically? has now turned about and stated his new position:

?Not all of these jobs are going to come back And it probably wouldn't be good for our economy for a bunch of these jobs to come back because, frankly, there's no way that people could be getting paid a living wage on some of these jobs -- at least in order to be competitive in an international setting."

Tell this to the unemployed Americans who cannot find a job.? Tell this to the women who now resort to stripping to make a living.? Tell this to high tech workers streaming into unemployment offices nationwide.

When I heard this, I wondered if anyone could be more ignorant.? After all, who could be so stupid as to believe that less available jobs is good for the economy.? However, Obama didn't stop there.? He followed up with this poison gem:

"And so we've got to go after the high-skill, high-wage jobs of the future.? That's why it's so important to train our folks more effectively and that's why it's so important for us to find new industries - building solar panels or wind turbines or the new biofuel -that involve these higher-value, higher-skill, higher-paying jobs.? So what we've got to do is create new jobs that can't be outsourced."

This statement is absurd.? The high-skill, high-wage jobs of the future will emerge from those economies engaged in the high-skill, high-wage jobs of today and we are not one of those economies.? Moreover, not a single job he mentions could not be outsourced.? Obama mentions, as examples, building solar panels, wind turbines, and new biofuel technologies.? Yes, these technologies may be a good basis for an economy, but everyone of them could easily be outsourced.? How could Obama possibly believe they would not be outsourced?? That he would state such an obvious falsehood as a means of covering up his backtracking from his campaign position demonstrates his arrogance and the contempt he holds for the working person.? Moreover, the only jobs that cannot be outsourced are jobs involving direct contact between people: medical services, exotic dancing, and prostitution, to name a few.

As a worker in the high-tech industry, I have not seen my income rise in any measurable sense in more than 10 years.? If anything, I've seen a decline and that decline is due to outsourcing.? I have seen the need to change jobs increase in frequency.? I've seen American employers lie to the INS in order to import workers to do jobs that Americans are available to do.? I voted for Obama believing he would keep to his word and work to end outsourcing.? What Obama now suggests demonstrates that his position on outsourcing is exactly the same as that of George Bush.

Eight years of George Bush has been eight years too many.? Do we intend to stand for eight years of George Bush II?

George Bush misled his constituents, now it's Obama's turn. We lost any semblance of democracy in
1963.

Blockade the trucks shipping all NAFTA Zone products coming out of Mexico headed to US consumers. Identify the trucks coming across the border and then fuck with them so they can't make it to market. In fact just fuck up all trucks coming out of Mexico and after your done spray paint "NAFTA SCUM" and "For the Women of JUAREZ" on the containers and trailers.
