Jefferson Tap trial

Chicago Police Sgt. Jeffery Planey and Officers Gregory Barnes and Paul Powers arrive Thursday for their trial at the Criminal Courts Building at 26th Street and California Avenue in Chicago. The three are facing aggravated battery charges for allegedly beating Aaron Gilfand, his brother Barry and two friends at the Jefferson Tap and Grille, 365 N. Jefferson St., early in the morning on Dec. 15, 2006.
