Tree Climb Trainings in Eugene

An introductory class on single rope technique tree climbing.
Class: Tree-Climbing: Introduction to Single Rope Technique

Date and Time: March 22, 29 (every Sunday in March) at 12:00 noon.

Location: The Lorax Manner (1648 Alder St) - in front of the house in Eugene.

Description: Folks in this class will learn the basics of how to climb into trees and descend out of them using rope and harness in a safe manner. This will be the first and necessary prerequisite in a series of progressively more advanced climb trainings covering any range of skills including girthing, setting lines, general rigging, creating tree dwellings and on.

Requirements:Please come with patience and attentiveness as the trainings will bring a focus on thoroughness and safety. There will be gear to allow two people to climb at a time so there may be some time on the ground to fraternize and practice knots. You will be asked to sign a liability waiver before allowed to climb on the lines.
