Music: Gift and Glory

Portland's First Unitarian Church routinely offers a Music and Worship Service. Today is one such day. Unitarian Universalism is a free, liberal faith. There is no church dogma. The Music and Worship services are a wonderful community event to celebrate our spirituality.
Services start at 9:15 and 11:15. It is good to arrive at least 15 minutes early. The church is at 1011 SW 12th.

Feb. 15: "Music: Gift and Glory" Music and Worship

The Unitarian and Chamber Choirs and Chamber Orchestra celebrate the gift of music, its healing powers and
hallelujahs with a variety of music and readings. Featured will be Handel: Zadok, the Priest, Britten: Hymn to
St. Cecilia and Vivaldi: Concerto for Two Trumpets. Jeff Work, principal trumpet of the Oregon Symphony, will play the Baldassare Trumpet Concerto.
