While filming under the Burnside Bridge, the police shine their spotlight to block my view

I was also informed that they would be "sweeping the homeless out" on Saturday Night 1.10.08

Under The Burnside Bridge 1.9.09
I went to see if the homeless people under the Burnside Bridge in Portland Oregon were getting hassled for being "homeless" I seen a man getting arrested so I started filming from 50 yards away. As I filmed one officer in a car started shining his spot light to block me from filming.

What I don't like is I just won a tort claim against the city police for taking my camera and for ticketing me for "filming them" ... I won my case ... I can film I also won 100 bucks ... a small fee that I attached to say I want policy change not money. Here is the PIMC post from that issue:

One month latter the police are trying to block me again. I don't like this nor think it is appropriate. In good faith I didn't sue them for big dollars ...and yet they still play their "cover up games" ...

It begs the question What and Why are the Portland Police trying to Hide?

This was filmed on 1.9.09. I was informed by people under the bridge that the police would be back tomorrow 1.10.09 to "sweep the homeless" from under the bridge...

See you there ~joe anybody

Way to go, Joe!! Hit 'em where it hurts! 10.Jan.2009 19:05

I recommend that you contact your attorney, and let him know what happened, and that the PPD is disregarding the court's ruling. Then, perhaps the attorney will call the cops and let them know the penalties involved in the violation of a court order.

Good luck!

VIDEO: man says police kicked him for no reason 11.Jan.2009 02:17

Joe Anybody iam@joe-anybody.com

Oh Great
Another "Under The Bridge Story"
Now I get a report that the cops kicked this guy for no reason

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I feel this man was being honest to me when he explained what happened recently to him as he was laying under the bridge

By the way I spent a few housrs under the bridge ...
Nothing bad to report.... no sweeps that I could see.... maybe a couple dozen folks resting out of the 39 degree weather... by hunkering down for a little peace of the night

i am shocked 11.Jan.2009 17:44

Cops continue to stop people from documenting their behavior,

no matter what the mayor says?

no matter what the law says?

no matter what the judge says?
