That's not to say that Obama will be as openly aggressive in his attacks on civil liberties, on the environment, and so forth. His election simply means that the frogs will be boiled at a slower rate.
If Obama's professed undying allegiance to Israel, before an AIPAC audience, was not enough to convince you of his sympathy for the Zionist movement, then how about his choice of Rahm Emanuel as his chief of staff?
For those who support Obama, that is your choice. Just don't delude yourself into thinking that your new leader is anti-war. He most certainly is not. Obama has stated that he will leave some US troops (and mercenaries) in Iraq, in order to help the Iraqi puppet-leaders fight "the terrorists". Obama has indicated that he will escalate the shameful aggression against the people of Afghanistan, that he reserves the right to launch illegal attacks within Pakistan, that he will continue to support the oppression, slaughter, end ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians, and that he will hypocritically prevent Iran from gaining nuclear weapons- of which there is zero evidence that they are attempting to acquire.
Nope. Sorry. Anyone expecting significant changes from Obama are fooling themselves. Aside from the fact that your new leader is a war-monger and a shameless Zionist apologist, he will also be handed an economy that will be on life support by the time he takes office, with few, if any resources to do much about it.
I really wanted to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, on the possibility of his statements prior to the election were geared to primarily to get elected. I held my tongue and muted my criticisms, but I have already had it with him, and he hasn't even assumed office. It appears to me that the blood-thirsty garbage that he was spewing prior to the sElection.
The corpse of the crappy US empire will continue to decompose under the new regime.
Enjoy your servitude to Israel.
Count me out.
