I'm not very good at artwork. I wonder if anyone on indymedia has a friend who can draw a cartoon with a blank caption and then publish it here to launch a caption contest.
Any image would work, again artists are a bit more creative. And the audience on indymedia could create some really wonderful captions.
One example: I was thinking of an image of 3 guys in suits, taking a leak on some object to signify the real victims here. Like a coffin , or the statue of liberty laying on the side. The coffin labeled voters, rest of the world, or consitution etc. One of the guys could be holding a briefcase that said wall street, the other, Washington, the other World Bank etc etc blah blah, you get it.
Newspapers are attracting readers with interactive features on their websites: polls, reader comments, reader caption contests, companion videos and photos. These are all good ideas to be made better on indymedia.
Below is the link to the Oregonian contest of the boat.

To add captions you need an account with the Oregonian.
You can also add a caption here, on indymedia.
