Tony Starlight Presents The Largest Outdoor Supperclub Ever Seen in Portland

Tony Starlight's Cavalcade of Stars to Close The Bite of Oregon
Portland, OR: On Sunday, August 10, Portland will witness an event that's not been seen in the city before. That night, the largest outdoor supperclub ever experienced in Portland will come to life featuring singer/comedian/club owner Tony Starlight and his Cavalcade of Stars. They'll be closing out the 25th anniversary of The Bite of Oregon food and music festival with a full two-hour musical variety show. Among the incredible local stars Tony Starlight is assembling, there will be two very special guests: Neil Diamond and Dean Martin.

Well, not really. Tony Starlight himself will perform his impressions of Neil Diamond and Dean Martin during the event with all the verve he displays indoors at Tony Starlight's Supperclub & Lounge in NE Portland.

Tony Starlight said, "The audience at The Bite of Oregon will be getting the best Big Band, Sinatra-style swing, musical impressions and comedy in the Portland metropolitan area. It is Tony Starlight's Supperclub & Lounge on a grand scale, with incredible food and drink from all over Oregon. I believe this may be largest outdoor supperclub ever staged in Portland. The fact that we are also helping support the Special Olympics of Oregon is just icing on the cake."

The Cavalcade of Stars Big Band, includes Tony's musical director Reece Marshburn, band leader and trumpeter, James M. Gregg, with vocalists Deanna Maio, Jon Olson, Emmy-nominated host of PDXposed, Peggy Lee tribute singer and Portland institution Linda Lee Michelet, and Lucy Hammond, the winner of the "Sing For Your Supperclub" Big Band Karaoke contest, held on a standing room only night this past July 24 at Tony Starlight's Supperclub & Lounge.

Musicians in the Cavalcade of Stars Big Band include members of the Shanghai Woolies, The Bureau of Standards Big Band, Deanna and The Downbeats and special guests Gavin Bondy of Pink Martini and Mel Torme's drummer of 25 years, the great Donny Osborne.

"It is a privilege to work with such talented musicians and vocalists. This is very exciting. I am planning on similar shows in the future involving the Cavalcade of Stars. The Bite of Oregon is only the beginning," said Starlight.

Located at 3728 NE Sandy Boulevard, at the Gateway to Portland's Historic Hollywood district, Tony Starlight's Supperclub & Lounge has live music performances five nights a week with the Tony Starlight Show most Saturday nights.
