Jim Page & David Rovics benefit for the Iraqi Children's campaign next Wednesday June 4th

The Oregon Wildlife Federation presents a benefit for "The Iraqi Children's Campaign" featuring legendary songwriter Jim Page and the man Amy Goodman called "The musical version of Democracy now!", David Rovics. This is a rare opportunity to see two great performers on the same stage and help the Iraqi Children's campaign at the same time.

The event is on Wednesday night June 4th at 07:30 pm at the "9 Muses" tavern on 2715 SE Belmont in Portland. Requesting $20 donation, but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
The Iraqi Children's Campaign is designed to create empathy and understanding for all children affected by wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The goal of this campaign is to keep images of frightened or injured children in front of the public, reminding all of us that innocent children continue to be in harm's way. We should never forget that these children are no different from our children. Help us remind Americans of this fact daily by helping to keep these billboards up on our highways. Our goal is to raise $5000 dollars.

What: Benefit concert for the Iraqi Childrens Campaign
When: June 4th 07:30 pm
Where: 2715 SE Belmont Portland Oreogn
Who: Seattle Indyfolk legend Jim Page and (the peace poet and troubadour of our time), David Rovics.
