Is was reported by someone that a fisherman shot at a sea lion last Thursday morning on the Lewis River. The National Marine Fisheries Service is said to be investigating the incident.
I want to know who saw the fisherman do it. It has been said that the Sea Lion went to eat the fish that was on the fisherman's line so he/she shot the Sea Lion.
What they do not say in any of the 2 articles is who saw the fisherman do it and why was he not caught? There is so little info about this. I encourage everyone to pick up the phone and call The National Marine Fisheries Service at 206-526-6150. Ask them what is going on and then post it here. We need more information.
