Sea Lion Demonstration Planning/Sign Making and Political Prisoner Letter Writing

Bye & Bye (smokeless bar w/vegan food &drink)
1011 NE Alberta

We will be writing letters to support political animal rights prisoners who desperately need to hear sympathetic voices.

We will also be planning what we will do to make our voices heard in the struggle to save the Columbia River Sea Lions.

Time is up, and we have to take action this week!

Please take the time to come hang out at Bye & Bye and help these brave prisoners and these amazing, charismatic creatures!

:-)

I will be there.

As for what you can do, one thing you can do is let the fishing industry and the governors of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho know that you will be joining the boycott of all NW seafood, particularly salmon, until the proposal to kill sea lions is off the table. You can reach some of them here:

These are some of the people who supported this misguided proposal. If you can find contact info for the rest, especially for members of the commercial fishing industry, please post them here. And please, everyone, contact them to let them know that we will all be boycotting their products as long as the proposal to hurt sea lions is on the table.

jeph

Thanks for the comments.

Bye & Bye is 21up only after 9PM

I'm not sure if it's just 18up or all ages before that. The bulk of our work should be done before 9, so hopefully you can make it?

THANKS!!! 25.Mar.2008 13:49

someone

Thank you so much for doing this!!!!

I care very much about the issues you are going to be discussing tomorrow -- saving the sea lions, and supporting political prisoners. I fear I will be unable to attend this time, though. I just want you to know that you have a lot of support out here, and that I'm SO with you, even if I am unable to be there tomorrow.
