I'm fucking pissed try doing a google search for free drug rehab. I have a friend who is addicted to prescription narcotics. This friend has been on them for years, and I honestly think this person will probably over dose and die if they stay on the drugs and continue drinking on top of the drugs. So i decided to look in to rehab for this person and what do you know the first hit you get is Narconon. Now your probably asking what is Narconon? Narconon is subsidiary of the church Scientology Heres an excerpt from the wikipidia article on it.
"Narconon was established February 19, 1966 as a drug-rehabilitation program based on "The Fundamentals of Thought" by L. Ron Hubbard and delivered to drug abusers in the Arizona State Prisons. The name "Narconon" originally referred not to an organization but to the program. Its creator was William C. Benitez, a former inmate at Arizona State Prison who had served time for narcotics offenses.[1] His work was supported by Scientology founder L. Given that sceintology is a scam and that Nerconon is not free, I'm pissed. What free options are out there for poor people whom are addicted to narcotics short of getting busted and going to prison? Also fuck the Sceintologist for taking advantage of desperate people in need of real help. Anonymous is right. These ass holes need to be erased from both the internet and society as a whole.
So in the mean time, I guess there is nothing I can do for my friend, except watch and hope for the best. Maybe my friend can quit with out the help of rehab but based on every thing I have read on the subject so far, the withdrawals are some thing akin to heroin. Any one out there have any suggestions?
