Despite protests by over 200 people from the neighborhood, LAUSD will destroy The L.A. Ecovillage supposedly to save the neighborhood by building a school that kids can walk to.
The LAUSD announced plans to build a school in the Los Angeles ECO Village neighborhood of 1st and Vermont. Over 200 people came to their project announcement meeting to protest.
