protest-lone vet report

ppsb stinks
January 27, 2008, 12:19 PM

We continued our protest/vigil outside of the Earlman's office last Thursday (26th week) and will be back next Thursday until Bush and Cheney are called to answer for this terrible occupation in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East. This madness must stop! We are not alone; many congressional offices are being pressured to sign on for impeachment.

I want to get this out today so that I can invite all who can, to support the custodians for Portland Public Schools; they are in a fight that just makes my blood boil.

I was a volunteer at Atkinson Elementary before they were fired and their jobs were out-sourced to a private contractor. They won their jobs back after years of legal appeals by the Portland School Board and now in the most vindictive way are being told that they must take a huge pay cut, (33%). So, got the time, come to 501 Dixon at 6 PM, tomorrow and tell the board that what they are doing stinks.
I am not a spokesperson for the union and only say what I believe, for more on this go to Jobs with Justice Site:

Take care and know that 2008 is going to be a tough year for all of us and fight we must.
