On 23 January 2008, in the center of Warsaw, a group of Warsaw anarchists put up an illegal, solidarity billboard with people arrested after a demonstration against the 3rd European Council Summit in 2005 in Poland. Despite it was a peaceful protest, police detained 11 activists using violence against them. They were false charged with assaulting the police officers and currently they have been going through a court trial. They can face 3 years of prison.
