My daughter is studying abroad in France, and no ATM will process any Visa transactions, meaning their system in Europe has crashed or hacked. On Point Credit Union told us these facts yesterday, explaining in no uncertain terms that 'the Visa System in Europe is down, they are working on it, and I have nothing else to tell you at the moment.'
Why would no one -- not even online Euro publications -- report on a computer failure of this magnitude? Could the truth of this very real matter -- which you apparently learn about if you are trying to pull your money through the Visa system -- be that its revelation might further erode the 'Market of Cards' our IOU financial system id built on?
