This shows pretty clearly the actions and intentions of La Migra (Border Patrol) during the clash at the ending rally (Nov. 11th) in Calexico.

Currently there is a comrade named Juan Esteban Ruiz facing life in prison or deportation after being assaulted, arrested and denied medical attention at this action. He is a Columbian national, has permanent legal resident status in the U.S. and has been charged with assaulting a federal officer (a felony), while in truth his only real crime was to show discontent with the system that deals with human beings in a brutal, racist manor. The Social Permaculture Advocacy Collective is determined to organize fund raising events in Portland in the coming months (and years if need be) to help support Juan's legal team and get people in contact with this political prisoner. The struggle to get him out may have just begun, so who wants to help?
