"Crude Awakening: the Oil Crash" to be Screened at Pacific University

The student environmental club at Pacific University, Forest Grove, and the grassroots citizen group Washington County Peak Oil, will be hosting a free screening of the film "Crude Awakening: the Oil Crush" on the Pacific campus.
The screening will be at 7pm, November 18th, in Pacific's Milky Way Gallery. Students and members of the public are invited. The film will be followed by a Question & Answer panel discussion about what our local governments and institutions can do to prepare us for Peak Oil, while simultaneously decreasing our area's carbon footprint. Panelists will include representatives from the Washington County Board of Commissioners, the City of Hillsboro, Pacific University's Environmetnal Studies Program, and the Oregon Sierra Club. This should be a truly inspiring event. Please come!
