Forwarded message from Derrick Jensen

Hey All,

Here are my upcoming events, including one November 30 in Olympia, WA, and
December 6 in Kalamazoo, and December 19 in Portland. Since it's such short
notice could those of you near Olympia or Kalamazoo or Portland help get
the word out?

thank you,

Friday, November 30, I'll be at Evergreen State College, Olympia, WA.
Longhouse at TESC. Doors: 7:00PM

7:30-9:00 PM The Paul Green (Portland) School of Rock Music Show Band

9:00-10:30 PM Derrick Jensen

This event is free for students of the Evergreen State College. A donation
of $10(given to the School of Rock scholarship fund) is asked of anyone
attending who is not an Evergreen student.

The School of Rock Show Band is made up of 15 of the top students (ages
8-17) playing a collection of rock songs ranging from Jimi Hendrix, Led
Zeppelin, Heart, AC/DC to Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Rage Against The
Machine, Oasis, and Rush.

To learn more about the Portland school and the 29 other schools in the
country visit www.schoolofrock.com

Tickets will be available from November 16th-30th from the Evergreen State
College Bookstore. There is a very limited amount of tickets being made
available to the general public so you should try to buy them early. If
tickets have not sold out they will still be available at the door. If you
absolutely can't get to the bookstore to pickup , you can send an email
with your full name, the amount of tickets you need to reserve, and your
phone number HERE.

Evergreen students attending the event should arrive as close to 7pm as
possible to try to ensure their admittance to the event.

Call 360-867-6000 and be connected with the student activities group
Infoshop if you need more information.

Tickets Available Wednesday November 14th

If the 150 tickets available to the general public are all sold within the
first week we will attempt to move the event to a larger capacity
performance space so no one will have to be turned away, but if everyone
waits to buy tickets it may lead to a lot of people not getting in, which
is the last thing we want. Caffe Vita have been incredibly gracious in
offering to sell the tickets without asking for any portion of the sale,
allowing 100% of the ticket price to go towards the scholarship fund, so
why not grab a drink while stopping by for your ticket, the sweet people
there deserve your support, as they are so generous with theirs.
